A guest who reaches your own website has already done the hard part. They found you, they are interested, and they are one decision away from booking direct instead of through an OTA that takes fifteen per cent. What usually happens next is that they open a second tab to check your reviews - and that second tab is a booking site with a Book Now button on it.
Putting your ratings on your own page removes the reason to leave. It is not a subtle mechanism and it does not need to be: the trust signal a traveller was about to go looking for is already in front of them, sourced from the platforms they would have checked anyway.
The widget shows live ratings from the sources you choose - Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, whichever combination flatters you honestly - as a floating badge or an inline block. One snippet, and it works on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace or a hand-built site.
How it works
Review Widgets, step by step.
- 1
Choose your platforms
Show the sources that genuinely reflect your property. There is no requirement to display all of them, and a strong Google rating on its own is more persuasive than four mediocre ones lined up.
- 2
Pick floating or inline
A floating badge follows the page and works well on a booking flow. An inline block sits inside a section - usually near the room rates, where the hesitation actually happens.
- 3
Paste one snippet
It stays current on its own as new reviews arrive. No plugin to update, no CMS in particular required.
What you get
Included at every property count.
- Floating or static badges
- Choose which platforms to show
- One snippet - Webflow, WordPress, anything
Questions
About review widgets.
It is a single lightweight embed that renders asynchronously, so it does not block your page. If it ever did, it would defeat the purpose - a slow page loses more bookings than a review badge wins.
Near the point of hesitation, which for most hotel sites is the rates or room-selection section rather than the homepage hero. A trust signal is worth most immediately before the decision, not on the way in.
Both, and anything else that lets you paste an embed - Squarespace, Wix, a static site, a custom build. There is no plugin to install.
